Purpose: Started in 2004 by Carmella Iulianello the Rochester Chapter of Pursuing Our Italians Names Together (POINTers) was renamed in 2014 as The Carmella Iulianello Friends of Italian Genealogy in the Greater Rochester Area - Also known as "FIG"
The purpose of this Organization is the perpetuation of a group of friends who want to study and promote Italian Genealogy. It is our desire to encourage and help one another as we pursue our Italian genealogy. We believe that in doing so, we will better understand our Italian ancestry and culture and the impact it has on our lives.
We Invite anyone interested in Italian genealogy or researching their Italian ancestry.

Membership Information: The annual dues for membership is $10.00 per individual and $15.00 per family of two.
The regular FIG meetings are held every other month on the third Saturday of each month at 2:00pm: February, April, June, August, October and December. (August Picnic and December Christmas Luncheon)
